Playing alongside Tiger Woods is not only the dream of every budding professional but also for various other celebrities. However, not all can fulfill their dreams. But Samuel L. Jackson is one such celeb who was able to do so. Recently, Samuel revealed something truly incredible about playing with Tiger.

Beating probably one of the greatest professionals of all time is a feat every professional would like to achieve. However, only a few have done that one of the names who supposedly beat Tiger Woods is Samuel L. Jackson. Samuel spoke about beating Woods once recently in Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Samuel is a 73-year-old American movie actor. He is also an avid golfer and enjoys playing golf. However, his story of beating Tiger Woods is like a fairy tale. Samuel said it was a “complete accident”.

Samuel recently appeared on the Tonight Show and revealed about beating Tiger.He said, “The first time I ever played St. Andrews, they paired me with [Woods] in what was the (Alfred Dunhill Championship) and I was a 16 [handicap]. He added, “So they gave me my 16 shots and I shot a 78 because he said ‘follow me’ and I stayed as close to him as I could. I shot 78, which means I beat him by about eight strokes.” Wow! did he really beat Tiger with eight strokes?

Well, with the Open Championship being played this year at St. Andrews, it would be exciting to see both compete it out, and maybe Tiger can settle his score with Samuel.

Tigers’ last PGA Tour win

Tiger Woods won his last PGA Tour title back in 2019. He won the 2019 ZOZO Championship in emphatic style, as a result, equalling Sam Sneads’ record for most PGA Tour wins. Woods won the event with an overall score of 16-under-par. As a result, won the event with a three-shot advantage. Tiger carded a final round of 67, three-under-par, which featured five birdies and two bogeys.
