The human race is becoming wholly dependent on technology every day. Constant efforts have been made towards making lives easier and more futuristic, whether it be the invention of telephones or the latest AI update. However, everything has its pros and cons, and one such con was recently shared by Charley Hull.
In the wake of Elon Musk’s new technological breakthrough, the 27-year-old golfer took to the internet and went on to share her thoughts on the latest technology and simultaneously shed some light on the importance of enjoying life without technology.

On January 29th, 2024, Elon Musk, the owner of Neuralink—the neurotechnology company—shared an update regarding their transhuman chip on his X profile. He updated that the first chip had been inserted into a human and they were recovering well. The chip was implanted in a human’s brain to assist with their daily tasks.
The 27-year-old shared an Instagram story regarding the same matter. The story consisted of a post that spoke about how the chip would enable communication without talking or listening to “music simply by thinking of a song title.”

The new technology clearly did not sit well with the two-time LPGA Tour winner, as she first put forth a rhetorical statement on her story and wrote, “Like what is the need for this” and continued to show her dissent towards the technology and added, “actually sick of technology now.”
Moreover, the Kettering native also showcased her desire to live in a time when there were no phones and high-end technologies. She said, “Swear I would of loved to of loved [live] in the times without phones and internet and just enjoy life the propper way.” Hull went on to call it “Silly t***s”. As per reports, the chip will also help in treating mental health issues, a topic that the LPGA Pro has not been a stranger to and has openly discussed.

The three-time Ladies European Tour winner revealed her mental health struggle after her T2 finish at the Women’s U.S. Open in 2023. She gave an exclusive interview to Sport BBC and stated that she had been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
The Englishwoman revealed that after her diagnosis, she started to know her triggers and feel better about herself. Hull once disclosed that, even though ADHD has some cons, it also has pros. At times, Hull feels extremely restless, but at the same time, the disorder lets her wind things up quickly.

Nonetheless, it had affected Hull’s life in many ways but she has found ways to work around it. With mental health, she recently also suffered many physical health woes, though she has recovered and is currently continuing her gym sessions and golf practices.
