Talking about her experience, the tennis professional said, “I was shocked. I thought at least, you know, I would get a face-to-face or something. But there was nothing. It was just a phone call and I did not hear from him again.” She did not expect such a serious relationship to come to an end over a phone call. She also talked about McIlroy never kept things private and that she didn’t have a say in the matter of publicizing their relationship. “It was very hard because he made it very public from the start. He put out a press release so I didn’t have a choice,”.

Serena Williams was the person responsible for Caroline Wozniacki not winning the grand slam title. But she also played a major role in helping the tennis star to move on from her recent past. Wozniacki said that she went to Miami after the French Open and accompanying her was Williams. The two had a great time there and after coming back, Wozniacki felt “refreshed”.

However, after moving on from her relationship with McIlroy, the tennis pro hilariously took a low blow at the golfer. “I think it is very important to have a life off the court and to me it wasn’t that hard to balance tennis and a relationship,” she said. She also added that she was looking forward to dating “a taller guy” than McIlroy, so she could wear her heels!
