With his easygoing personality and impressive skills on the course, Max Homa has quickly become a fan favorite among golf enthusiasts around the globe. In addition to being a great golfer, he is a devoted husband and father. The 32-year-old welcomed his baby boy, Cam, in November last year. Homa wants to be a great father by being there for his son. Moreover, Max aspires to be a corny dad. And maybe that’s why Cam prefers his uncle and his father’s caddie, Joe Greiner, over him.

Max Homa has a humorous dream about his son

Recently during a commercial Greiner asked the 6-time PGA Tour winner about what experiences he dreams to share with his son. He said that one day it might happen that his son, Cam, will run on the greens and he will have to scream at the little boy to hug him because he would probably go hug Joe first. “For one day he runs onto the greens and he goes to hug you first and I scream at him to hug me first because there’s a camera watching.”

Max met his caddie when he was 6 years old. The two have played many rounds of golf together. Joe also holds a record at Vista Valencia Golf Club’s par-3 course. Moreover, he loves to tease Homa about his record every chance he gets.

It is very evident from the commercial that the pair are really good friends. Moreover, since little Cam approves of Grenier so much that he goes to hug him first over his dad, the pair are more like family to each other.

Homa’s wife served him a secret sauce which helped him win

The PGA Tour pro values his wife, Lacey Croom’s opinion when it comes to navigating the highs and lows of the sport. Lacey’s advice before Homa’s golf rounds ranges from amusing to profound and has proved to be a game-changer.

In the nail-biting final round of the 2021 Genesis Invitational, Homa missed a crucial putt that could have guaranteed him the win on the 72nd hole. However, Lacey’s timely advice to remain patient and forgive quickly helped him to get back on track. He immediately bounced back and entered the playoff against Tony Finau with renewed vigor.
