It has been three months since the championships of this PGA Tour has begun. While it was good to see new champions emerge from every tournament, Paige Spiranac feels something is missing. Something that she used to enjoy in the Tiger Woods era.

“I am just missing kind of that like intensity that we had with Tiger and seeing someone be so dominant and so special.” Spiranac explained to Amanda Rose, her co-host on the ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee’ podcast.

She further added that back when Woods was playing, people used to go out and watch him play, but now there is no one like him on the Tour. “He transcends the game, and I feel like we are kind of missing that right now.”

“I like that like head-to-head competitiveness that I just kind of feel like golf is missing right now,” the former golfer said. She explained that all the winners of the Tour events this season are too nice to each other. All of them want each other to become the best and progress that way.

Tiger Woods era used to give excitement to the golf world!

As a millennial, Spiranac grew up watching Woods’ golf. His style and energy on the course had inspired numerous people like Rory McIlroy to fall in love with the sport.
