Brooks Koepka and Jena Sims have always been in the spotlight since they became official in 2017. Now, as soon-to-be parents, it is not surprising to see people curious about their personal moments. The viewers are especially interested in the new addition to the Koepka family. Every detail involving the little one has caught the fans’ attention.

So, to witness some of the questions at Oklahoma being about the Koepka baby was predictable. The 2018 U.S. Open winner, along with his Smash GC teammates, sat for the press conference on Thursday in Tulsa. While the session revolved around the game and the golf course, interviewers did not waste any time asking Brooks about his new role. Koepka has been comparatively less vocal about the relationship than Jena. Sims has always been public about her love and never shunned away from complimenting her husband. This time, however, it was the golfer who expressed his admiration.

After the huge revelation of their pregnancy through social media, the couple has not shared much regarding the upcoming member. However, as Brooks Koepka took the mic at the recent press conference in Oklahoma, he had no choice but to answer a couple of questions regarding his fast-approaching new role.

On being asked about one trait he would want his child to acquire from him and his wife, Jena Sims, the four-time major champion responded with a chuckle. “I hope he gets a lot more traits from my wife than he does me, I think me, probably discipline.” he said. “I think I’m pretty disciplined when it comes down to work. And then my wife’s sense of humor. You always want to be funny, right?”

Earlier this month, Mrs. Koepka showed the fans her fun side. She is known by golf fans for her amazing sense of humor. This side of her personality includes pranking her husband, teasing him, and making funny sarcastic comments. Hence, it is a no-brainer for the golfer to want his baby to inherit this vibrant part of his wife’s personality. After all, being funny is never an overrated trait.
