WATCH: Bryson DeChambeau Sinks a Hole-in-One at Augusta National During 2019 Masters

Bryson DeChambeau, with his recent wins, has established his space as one of the best golfers in the world. His transformation and skill have been constantly discussed, some even looking at him as another Tiger Woods. Having said that, let’s take a look at the young PGA Tour star’s winner’s first-ever hole-in-one during the 2019 Masters.

While DeChhambeau did not win the event, his hole-in-one will always remain a highlight. Since then, DeChambeau has won three PGA Tour events – including his 2020 US Open victory. Interestingly, DeChambeau did not win any PGA Tour event in 2019. He did, however, win the President’s Cup that year.

Taking a look at Bryson DeChambeau’s forever-iconic 2019 Masters hole-in-one

After his T21 finish at the 2016 Masters, Bryson DeChambeau was back at the event in 2019 with the hope to win his first major title. Unfortunately, as the final round wrapped up, there was no way he would take home the win. That being said, his hole 16 gave him something iconic to remember the tournament by.


Having started the round on the 10th hole on the final day, DeChambeau’s unforgettable hole-in-one was a few holes away. What no one will forget, however, is DeChambeau’s celebration. The six-foot-one icon jumped up and down as the ball made it down the slope, perfectly curving into the 16th.

As mentioned, it remains the first hole-in-one in Bryson’s entire career.

During the 2019 Masters, DeChambeau had arrived at the hole with a two-over score. He made his shot with a 7-iron, simply watching as it made its way towards its destination. Bryson finished T29, Tiger Woods claiming his 15th major title at the Augusta National Golf Club.

Interestingly, this was the 21st hole-in-one at the 16th hole of the course. Ten of them took place in that decade itself.
