How did Jordan start playing golf?
When Jordan did start playing golf, no one expected him to make it such a big part of his life. He started hitting balls with Buzz Peterson and Davis Love III, playing his first round with the latter. He reportedly shot a bogey (or worse) on 17 out of 18 holes, only managing one par. By the looks of his current handicap, Jordan’s skills have improved drastically.
“He started off just tagging along and driving the cart or walking around with us, just because there were so many guys playing,” Love said during an interview. “He tried to come out and hack it around and hang out”.
Eventually, Jordan wanted to hit a few shots himself, which got him more interested in the sport.
