The world of golf is renowned for its strict dress code and traditional attire. From collared shirts to khaki pants and golf shoes, the golfing community has long held onto the idea that the way you dress on the course is just as important as how you play. Moreover, the crisp lines of players’ outfits and the polished look of their shoes create a refined and sophisticated image. However, the slightest change in these traditional outfits can disturb the whole community.
The golf world is in a frenzy once again…and the culprit – the ankle-length joggers. At the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Eric Cole has been making headlines for his attire.

A few days ago everyone was appreciating the 34-year old for his great performance at the 2023 Honda Classic. With a score deficit of 14 at the end of the 2023 Honda Classic, Eric left no stone unturned to clinch the second spot. His determination paid off as he walked away with a mouth-watering prize money of $915,600 from the tournament’s impressive $20 million purse.

And now someone took to Twitter to address the length of Eric’s joggers. The tweet read, “I’m #TeamJoggers but these are literally getting shorter by the day.”
And the same fans who were in awe of the PGA Tour pro, are now criticizing him. People are worried that players will just start wearing shorts on the course. Moreover, they think that joggers are an abomination to the society!
