With six PGA Tour wins and him currently playing in peak form, Max Homa is a name every golf fan has heard of late. With his marvelous skills on the course and his humor and wit off it, he has earned quite a reputation in the golf world. In recent times, his wife, Lacey Croom, too, has drawn quite a bit of attention while cheering for him among the crowd. It has fans wondering who exactly she is. Well, let’s see what we know.

Max Homa and Lacey Croom’s relationship

The PGA Tour star turned pro in 2013 but faced an unfortunate drought for the first six years of his professional career. But 2019 was a big year for the golf pro. Not only did he get his first Tour win, but in November of that year he also got hitched to Lacey. As per Golf Monthly in 2022, the two had been seeing each other for quite a long time before they were married. After their wedding, Croom took Homa’s last name and is now officially Lacey Homa.

Not much is known about his wife. Unlike Homa, who is known to be the funny Twitter guy in the golf world, Croom is quite the opposite. She seems to lead quite a private life. Her social media accounts too—both Twitter and Instagram—are private and restricted to only her close ones. But fans do get to see a lot of her through the ever-public accounts of the PGA Tour star.

What does Croom do for a living?

Lacey was born in California on the 16th of April, 1991. She is only a few months younger than her husband, the famous golf pro who was born on 19th November 1990. When she turned 30 in 2021, Homa even serenaded her on his Instagram page, like he does almost every year on her birthday, with a wholesome heartwarming message that left the golf fans in awe.

‘My Wife Is a Dork’ – Max Homa

In 2013, Croom graduated from California State University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and is now a California licensed real estate appraiser and a licensed realtor. For a few years now Mrs. Homa has been working as a real estate agent while her husband swings his clubs on the course.

Besides her full-time job, Lacey is also a passionate photographer. She even has a budding Instagram account for her photos, named ‘Lacehomaphotography’. On the account, she showcases her hobby of capturing moments and claims herself to be a “hobbyist travelling photographer.” She currently has 344 followers on her passion project.

Meet the Homa family

It’s safe to say that the two are more than happy together. In fact, ever since they tied the knot, Homa’s luck on the course too seems to have overturned. In 2021, the PGA Tour star won twice on the tour, and then the following year, he again won twice. But 2022 has a much bigger milestone in the golf pros’ lives. It was the year he became a father.

On the 30th of October 2022, Lacey and Max’s first child, their son, Cam Andrew Homa, was born. Mrs. Homa had suffered a few complications during her pregnancy, but fortunately, everything ended up fine. The golf pro announced his son’s birth to the public in a heartfelt post on Instagram. He further celebrated another big moment in 2023 when his son was present at the PGA Tour’s pro 6th Tour win. 

But Croom and Homa have another child besides Cam. Well metaphorically! The two have a dog, Scotty. She is now 7 years old and is almost certainly listed as Cam’s older sister when it comes to their family tree.
