The golf world has been going through a lot of changes ever since Greg Norman came up with the LIV Golf series. The ‘shark’ launched the Saudi-backed league and successfully lured out numerous talented players from the PGA Tour. However, there is one thing that LIV lacked to become a perfect competition for the tour. But according to recent news, the new league is all set to get ahead on the PGA Tour with an upcoming announcement. And golf fans are giving all kinds of reactions to it.

LIV Golf to make a huge move

The Saudi-funded league has been working in all directions to help its players achieve everything that golfers on the PGA Tour have. Norman has been trying to give his LIV team all the freedom that he can provide at his end. From wearing shorts on the field to playing short schedules,LIV players are in bliss.

However, there is one thing that the breakaway league has been trying to attain for a long time. Even after facing resistance from everyone in their way, LIV Golf has been giving its best to secure TV rights. But to their disappointment, the league had to return empty-handed even after almost cracking a deal with a channel.

The 2023 season is going to be super exciting for golf fans. And Norman doesn’t want to miss this opportunity. LIV even considered giving away their TV rights for free to channels after failing to make deals. However, as per recent reports, the league is expected to announce a broadcast deal with CW Network, an American English-language commercial broadcast channel very soon. And this might give them a bigger edge over the PGA Tour.
