Charley Hull recently won the second title with a one-shot at The Ascendant on the LPGA Tour. She appeared for an interview post her win and shocked everyone with her bold statement.

The official Twitter account of Sky Sports Golf tweeted a snippet of her interview where she was seen supporting the idea of joining LIV golf. She did not say it directly that she would be interested in playing for LIV, but her words were enough to form speculations.

The interviewer asked her about the rumors that might come true about LIV Golf. They were planning to launch LIV for women. It is not confirmed, but the possibilities say so. If that happens, would she be interested in being part of the tour?

Without wasting a minute, her immediate answer was, “… You’ll be mad not to consider it…” Even though she has heard no rumor or news about the LIV for women, it seems she would be happy to join it. However, she portrayed her love for LPGA, too. Even though she might join LIV Golf, she said that she is thrilled with the tour and she lives by it.

Hull’s thoughts on women’s golf

During her interview, they discussed a buzz in the golf world about the Presidents Cup for women and Hull expressed her honest views on it. She said that it was a good idea, as there are many good Asian players like Ashley Nihar who can be great for the Cup.

Supporting the concept, she said that this would be a big step in the development of women’s golf.
