The Saudi Arabian soccer clubs broke the bank to sign some of the world-class players in the world. Be it Neymar, Roberto Firmino, or Sadio Mane, the clubs have brought in stunning talents to improve their league standing. Moreover, more players are coming, but Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr seem unhappy with the funds allocated for his club. The Saudi Public Investment Fund allots its resources to four clubs (Al Nassr, Al Ittihad, Al Hilal, and Al Ahli). Yet, Ronaldo was unhappy with the distribution of funds. 

Al Nassr had agreed terms with Mohammed Kudus from Ajax, who is one of the brightest talents out there. Nonetheless, Kudus would probably be on his way to West Ham, with Al Nassr not having enough funds to complete the deal. 

Cristiano Ronaldo unhappy with Al Nassr fund allocation

According to a journalist, “Al-Nasr Club received the approval of the Ghanaian Muhammad Quddous and his club, and did not receive the approval of the Polarization Committee to support the deal Good luck..” Al Nassr’s budget allocation rose from $66 million to $98 million. Therefore, there were not enough funds to allocate for the team. Meanwhile, Al Hilal went ahead and signed Neymar in a blockbuster deal as their rivals have gotten stronger. 

The three other clubs under the PIF allotted $130 million to Al Hilal, Al Ittihad, and Al Ahli. There is a glaring difference between those three clubs and Al Nassr as they approached the polarizing committee with their qualms. Thus, the report by the journalist suggests they would allocate no further funds. While it is a massive blow to their ambitions, Al Nassr has signed some of the most outstanding talents in the field. They have a team worthy of challenging the other teams in the Saudi Pro League.
