Since retiring from professional surfing in 2018, Fanning has remained involved in the surf community and has focused on promoting ocean conservation and sustainability. He has continued to inspire and mentor young surfers around the world. Fanning also started his own surfboard company, MF Softboards. Kennedy and Fanning used the same board for their surf lesson as well. It must have been a great experience learning and surfing alongside a world champion.

This was not the first time Kennedy took it to the ocean. It seems like Kennedy has a deep love for the ocean and has been involved in many water-related activities.
