And even though winning his Pro card at the age of 20 gave him undeniable credibility, he could not be freed from the shackles of controversies and was even banned from IFBB for one year, which soon became a lifetime ban as the controversy escalated further.

Despite all this, he made an unforgettable comeback in 2013 and won Mr. Universe. Recently, the bodybuilder recalled his 2013 Mr. Universe win with a long heartfelt caption. In the post, he was grateful for the victory he got and complimented one of his best-conditioned bodies.

In a recent Instagram post, the IFBB Pro, Priest recalled the 2013 Universe win. He revealed that 2013 was the year he had one of the best conditions. Bringing light to the fact how he felt about this win, he said, “it was such a blessing that the universe that I won.”

Continuing further, he said that he was so focused and had tunnel vision on the show. Talking about his comeback and Mr. Universe competition, he said that he went to the gym and trained a lot. Of course, he also fondly remembers spending more time with his kids during the time.

Priest’s 2013 win was historic, and it got him more fame and popularity in the bodybuilding community. Even though it has been decades for him to be in his competitive arena, his considered 2013 comeback one of the golden times of his career, as this was the time when he was in good condition.
