With the new season around the corner, experts have begun voicing their opinion regarding players who will create an impact. A former American legend, 3-Time Grand Slam winner Lindsay Davenport spoke highly of the talented Coco Gauff. Lindsay said, “I think she’s going to well at the French as she’s a former junior there. I think that title is going to be like a quarterfinal there. It’s going to propel her to the US Open final.”
However, she made another interesting claim stating that the crowd will play a crucial role in young teenager’s development in the majors. She said, “A lot will depend on that crowd, that really hurt her last year and it has helped her in so many other majors. So there is a little asterisk there that if there’s some kind of crowd, it’s going to be her tournament.”
