John Isner Joins Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in Elite Group After Atlanta Open 2021 Victory

American tennis player John Isner is easily one of the tallest players to ever step onto the tennis court. Considered one of the greatest servers the sport has ever seen, he has earned a ranking as high as being the eighth-best player in the world.
Recently, Isner won the ATP Atlanta Open title. It has been one of his most successful tournaments as he won it for the sixth time. In doing so, he has joined the elite list of players such as Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic of being able to win an event on so many occasions.
John Isner emerges on top

After running through players such as Taylor Fritz and Jock Sock, Isner beat Brandon Nakashima in straight sets, 7-6(8), 7-5. With this win, John clinched his first title of the season.
His season didn’t start off on a high note, though. While he skipped the Australian Open, he suffered early-round exits in Mexico and Miami.
