The doubles specialist tennis player, Kristina Mladenovic announced the separation with her coach Sascha Bajin after training together since April 2019.
She announced their split on social media, “I am very disappointed about Sascha’s decision not to continue our relationship next season. I enjoyed our work, we had some great wins and I truly felt my game was on the rise again. I think that there was a lot more to achieve together but I can’t change his opinion & decision. On my side, I am proud of my year & progress and I will keep working hard and build strong to be even better in 2020,” Kristina Mladenovic said.
The announcement was made after World Number 45, Mladenovic lost to Belinda Bencic in the semifinals of Kremlin Cup 2019 in Russia. After joining forces with Sascha Bajin she turned World Number one in doubles after she lifted up the doubles title at Roland-Garros 2019 and she was in tandem with Time Babos.

However, the duo will be training until the end of the 2019 season. “I’ll end this season with Kiki, that’s the promise, then you’ll see how it goes on,” Bajin said. He was asked whether Angelique Kerber has requested him to join her team but Bajin was reluctant to reveal that matter. “I’d rather not say anything bout that. I’ll pull through my energy in there before I look into the next chapter,” he said.

The German tennis coach, Sascha Bajin was previously coaching Naomi Osaka, but the Japanese player sacked her coach after winning her second straight Grand Slam at Australian Open 2019. He previously served as a hitting partner to Serena Williams.

However, Mladenovic’s run on the singles circuit has been poor, but she delivered victories over Grand Slam champions like Naomi Osaka and Angelique Kerber, Bajin officially joined Mlandenvic’s box during Miami Open 2019. Also, Mladenovic which be representing France in the finals of Fed Cup 2019.

Previously on the WTA circuit, Petra Martic split with her coach Sandra Zaniewska and Julia Goerges also split with her coach Sebastian Sachs.
