How did Jose Canseco shoot his finger?
During his 17 years of baseball career, Jose Canseco won the World Series with the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees. He also has 462 home runs in his name. Debuted in the 1985 season, Canseco bid farewell to the game in the 2001 season.
In 2016, Canseco sat with two other MLB legends, Pete Rose and Frank Thomas, and discussed many aspects of his personal and professional life. During the chat, Canseco revealed the incident about how he shot his finger.

While cleaning his guns, he did not know that one gun had a bullet inside. And mistakenly, he gunned down his finger.
“I am explaining to everyone that you never clean three guns at one time… I grabbed the clip, thought that was empty. Two were empty. The third one had one bullet in the clip. Put it in went off in my hand. I thought it just discharged.”

“So, when I put the gun down, I looked around, looking for the bullet. I look at my hand, my fingers are gone… So, I clamp it down and looking for my finger on the ground…” said Canseco. Then, we called 911… Luckily, I had one of the best surgeons in Vegas put this thing back together…”
After hearing this incident, Rose and Thomas could not control their laugh.
