Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez is a man with a vision. In his recent appearance on the Martha Stewart Podcast, he entertained & enlightened the listeners. The former baseball player, New York Yankees icon, and entrepreneur talked about the future of Major League Baseball, with special admiration for Aaron Judge. 

Many celebrity guests grace the Martha Stewart Podcast. The newly aired podcast recently had Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez as one of those famed visitors. The episode goes by the title, ‘Making Moves With A-Rod’. Various topics circulating around the past and present stages of Rodriguez’s life, including some possible future scenarios of the sport, were in talks.

The topics for Rodriguez’s interviews nowadays mainly relate to his broken engagement with Jennifer Lopez and the failed bidding to buy the New York Mets jointly. Another topic quite frequently put across to ‘A-Rod’ is the future of the New York Yankees. When asked about, ‘A-Rod’ always sings high praise about one Yankees player in particular. That gifted player is none other than the charismatic Aaron Judge

Aaron Judge is a treasure for the Yankees, according to ‘A-Rod’. In a recent interview on the Martha Stewart Podcast, ‘A-Rod’ got around to appreciating Judge again. ‘A-Rod’ declared Aaron Judge as his favorite player in MLB. 

 

When asked about the future of the Yankees and the influence of champion slugger Aaron Judge, ‘A-Rod’ replied, “Well, first of all, like he’s this great, big, handsome, great face of Major League Baseball. He is six foot seven, 280 pounds, has a vertical like 30 inches. He could’ve played football at Stanford and Notre Dame. And chose to play baseball. And now he is the face of the Yankees. He is the best player in the Yankee roster. And as you said, now they have the best record in Major League Baseball.”

Stewart then termed the Mets to be close next to the Yankees in a matter of team strength. To which ‘A-Rod’ agreed and praised Mets owner Steve Cohen for hiring top-notch management staff. Both Stewart and ‘A-Rod’ take joy at the prospect of New York housing two equally strong baseball teams. ‘A-Rod’ even talked about a possible 2000 subway series showdown rematch. 

Aaron Judge is the key to moving ahead 

‘A-Rod’ has always maintained that the Yankees and Aaron Judge are a match made in heaven. While the Yankees are the most popular franchise in baseball, Judge is the most glamorous player in the entire league combined. But the free agent Judge’s contract with the Yankees is near expiry. So ‘A-Rod’ thinks the Yankees must focus on renewing their contract with Judge to proceed on the path to victory.
