Alex Rodriguez and Ex-fiancee Jennifer Lopez Once Teamed Up With Aaron Judge to Create a Powerful Memory for a Good Cause

Aaron Judge is now a primary iconic figure in the contemporary baseball scenario. He simultaneously became a poster image representative of the New York Yankees. Through his extraordinary accomplishments, he has already become an elite member of the game. Back in 2018, Judge got joined by another iconic baseball megastar, formerly of the Yankees’ frame.

Judge was an upcoming talent back in 2018, who won the league’s best rookie award in the previous year. He participated in a charity softball game at Yankee Stadium in 2018. Joining him at the dugout was the retired baseball legend Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez and pop music sensation Jennifer Lopez. They attended the event to extend their support to a social cause.

Both ‘A-Rod’ and Lopez have previously made contributions to charitable causes. ‘A-Rod’ began playing in his MLB career for the Seattle Mariners and the Texas Rangers. But his most memorable playing stint was with the Pinstripes. Lopez was born in New York City. Therefore, Judge, ‘A-Rod’, and Lopez have all got significant ties to New York.

Aaron Judge in the company of a celebrity couple 

Aaron Judge took part in a charity softball game organized by former Yankees star CC Sabathia in 2018. Notably, Sabathia and Alex Rodriguez lifted the World Series championship as teammates in 2009. So ‘A-Rod’ and Jennifer Lopez extended their support to Sabathia’s charity trust, PitCCh In Foundation.

The organization raised approximately $1 million through the softball game. Sabathia gathers funds for the welfare of the city’s youth through the charity foundation. Thus, the event honored the life of a late teen named Lesandro Guzman-Feliz. The 15-year-old Bronx native died in a gang attack one week prior to the game.

Various famous Yankees players, both past and present, participated in the game. However, ‘A-Rod’ did not take up the field as a player. But ‘A-Rod’ and Lopez visited Judge at the dugout for a chat. Later, ‘A-Rod’ shared an image of the trio on his Instagram account, quoting, “Was great to be back at the stadium supporting a great cause.” 

Aaron Judge’s MLB career to date and his potential future 

Judge is presently the American League MVP Award recipient. He made his MLB debut as the Yankees outfielder in 2016. Since then, he has thus made four All-Star appearances. However, Judge’s Yankees term contract is over, and he is in talks with the San Francisco Giants as his next possible MLB team.
