Jeter walked out with a cup of triple shot latte in his hand. A zoom focus on the cup displayed the cup credited under the name of ‘Philip.’ However, it’s still unknown if it was initially for a fan who handed his cup to Jeter. Or else, that may be a simple trick by Jeter to remain anonymous.

However, it wasn’t the first time Jeter pulled a blanket over his name. Back in 2007, a group of Yankees checked into a hotel in Seattle. According to a source, Jeter then called himself ‘Johnny Drama.’ Former Yankees’ coach Don Mattingly called himself ‘Bruce Almighty’ while retired catcher, Jorge Posada called himself ‘Ricky Ricardo.’
Derek Jeter’s life after retirement
Jeter bid farewell to baseball as a player in 2014. Following on, he got his jersey retired by the Yankees organization and later an MLB Hall Of Fame induction. Notably, he also became a joint owner of the Miami Marlins in 2017, administering as the franchise’s CEO until 2022.
