Aaron Judge‘s toe injury remains a major concern for the New York Yankees as they try to recover from recent losses. Amid a flurry of mostly disappointing updates, the reigning AL MVP is on the path to recovery. Judge has been keeping in shape however he can, which included his first baseball activity of the season recently. But his recent appearance in St. Louis has fans excited.
With the St. Louis Cardinals claiming the latest victory in a doubleheader, the Yankees could use some help from their captain. However, ever since he crashed into Dodger Stadium’s wall on June 3, nothing has been the same. The Yankees captain has stated before that throwing is easier than batting since his foot still hurts.

Schenck runs the Teacherman baseball facility in St. Peters but interestingly, he has never played in MLB. While the Yankees played in St. Louis, fans are hoping Judge paid a visit to the man that drastically improved his hitting abilities.

While throwing practice at Oakland’s Coliseum a few days ago seemed like a positive update, the Yankees player will also have to focus on batting sooner or later. Schenck could be a tremendous help once again, and Judge believes in him wholeheartedly.
How did Richard Schenck come to be a renowned coach?
Schenck’s journey started with wanting to help his youngest son with his swing. After a thorough analysis into how Barry Bonds did it, the coach came up with some unique ideas that he also shared on the internet. And who would end up watching those videos but Dave Matranga, Aaron Judge’s agent? Matranga introduced the two to each other and Judge kept in touch with Schenck to this day.

Now recovering from his second IL stint of the season, Judge will have to employ every tactic he can to get back to the regular season. And getting help from Schenck would be a step in the right direction.
