An Adorable Picture of Gerrit Cole Has Stolen the Hearts of Fans

The $324,000,000 Gerrit Cole recently took to Instagram to post an adorable picture of him with his wife, Amy Crawford in front of the Eiffel Tower. He captioned the post, “à bientôt, Paris!” which translates to ‘See you soon, Paris!’ The picture of the two smiling ear to ear perfectly captured their 7 year marriage with the emotion of love-in-the-air in Ville d’Amour. As fans drool over this picture, they hope he wins the much-deserved soon. 

The 6X All Star, was named the finalist for the 2023 American League Cy Young Award on Monday. The winner will be revealed on MLB Network on November 15 at 6:00 p.m. ET. Cole wants to win the award and become the first Yankee to do so since Roger Clemens did in 2001. The ace has the fans wowed! The 33-year-old, had a memorable season in 2023, despite the Yankees’ extremely dismal performance. So much so, that the captain could not hold himself back from praising. 

Aaron Judge, addressing the prowess of Cole said, ”He’s the best pitcher in the game. This is Gerrit Cole’s era, that’s for sure. He’s the benchmark for what an ace is supposed to be like, on and off the field”. Not only has he been a great pitcher but also an unmatched team player as seen on multiple instances on the diamond. Folks from the clubhouse and the Yanks fandom love him. Moreover, his recent Au revoir message in front of the Eiffel tower was a cherry on top.
