This Puerto Rican who was the first overall draft selection in 2012 went on to become a great hit in Astros. They made five ALCS appearances and had one World Series win, thanks to the outstanding playoff performances of the 2015 AL Rookie of the Year. All this lasted until 2022, when he moved to the Minnesota Twins. And what he has done for them this postseason is herculean.

In Sunday’s game, Carlos achieved an impressive milestone of 63 postseason RBI, equaling David Justice’s record for the third-highest total in postseason history. The only players ahead of him in this category are Bernie Williams with 80 RBI and Manny Ramírez with 78. Moreover, as the 2x All-Star hits well this post-season, he has overtaken Derek Jeter and David Ortiz, two hall-of-fame players themselves.
In Minute Maid Park, Correa doubled with an RBI in the opening inning. In the fifth, he added a two-run single to center field, giving the Twins a 5-0 advantage. With a superb diving save for the final out, he also prevented Jeremy Pena from getting a hit.
