Derek Jeter, ended his bachelor days when he proposed to his supermodel wife, Hannah Jeter (formerly Davis) in 2015. The baseball icon had spent over two decades playing the game. And after bidding farewell in 2014, it was time for him to fulfill his other dream – to create a family.

The couple had started dating each other in 2012 after meeting at a mutual friend’s party. They fell for each other shortly after, and the love between them only increased with time. The fact that Jeter can do almost anything for his supermodel wife became true when the ex-athlete surprised a fan in return for complimenting his wife. That day, during new year’s eve in 2016, the former shortstop made a fan’s day by letting him enjoy a part of his million dollars.

On a chilly December night, the Hall of Famer was having dinner with his wife at Bern’s Steak House in Tampa, Florida. While celebrating the day, a fan came up to the couple’s table and complimented the former baseball player’s wife. The fan said some words about how beautiful the Sports Illustrated model was.

Jeter, entirely in love with his wife, said, “Most beautiful in the world.” Followed by, “She is the best decision I have ever made.” After which, the Hall of Famer, being the gentleman that he is, generously picked up that man’s bill. 

This proved that flattery would get you to the heights with captain Derek Jeter. He indeed made the day of that man. But with the words he said, he must have made his wife, Hannah Jeter, blush too. 

Where did the baseball icon got married?

Half a year after proposing to Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit model, the couple got married in an intimate ceremony in Napa Valley in July 2016. From the start of their relationship, they have kept everything under wraps. They love their privacy, and thus almost everything about the couple is found only through them.
