Retired New York Yankees captain and five-time World Series champion Derek Jeter, is well known for his baseball achievements. But, currently, the former baseballer is enjoying his life as a father to his three lovely daughters. Recently, Jeter opened up about his life as a “girl dad,” sharing a rare glimpse into his world. He revealed that his daughters’ love of Disney movie soundtracks has taken over his car rides. While he’s tried to steer them toward other music genres, they just can’t get enough of their favorite tunes. Nonetheless, Jeter remains committed to exposing his girls to different experiences and broadening their horizons, both musically and in other aspects of life.
Aside from his fatherhood, Jeter has always been passionate about music. He has previously spoken about how music has been a significant part of his life, particularly old-school R&B, and soul music. Jeter is now trying to pass on his music love to his daughters. He plays them some of his favorite tunes and hopes they will eventually appreciate them, too.

Derek Jeter attempts to change his daughter’s musical playlist. He shares his favorite old-school R&B music with his daughters. He highlighted that “Music has always been a big part of my life. “Growing up, I listened to old-school R&B and soul music. That’s still the music that speaks to me the most.”
However, Jeter’s daughters seem to have different taste buds when it comes to music. Kids have been listening to tracks from Disney movies for quite some time now. But Jeter is determined to get his girls to switch things up with other music genres. Adding to it, Jeter joked, “I’ve heard it over and over and over and over again,” “I’m trying to push them in another direction, but that seems to be the two right now. I’m going old-school R&B with them now, and they’re starting to appreciate a few of the songs.”

Cherishing Fatherhood: Jeter on Making Every Moment Count
Derek Jeter’s daughters not only just enjoy music in his SUV but also love the luxury of having massage chairs in the car. Jeter said the massage chairs are a “cool little feature” that his daughters appreciate.
The former Yankees player has enjoyed being a dad in his retirement life. He spends as much time as he can with his daughters. He said he didn’t want to miss any moment of their childhood.

“I’m always reminding myself to enjoy every moment because kids grow up so fast,” he said. “Just seeing them grow, seeing them develop personalities, seeing them enjoy life is the best part of being a parent.”
