Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez were like a family, while they were dating. Lopez moved in together with ‘A-Rod’ soon after their relationship took the form of love. Their children blended with each other as swiftly as the couple bonded. The kids once even gave Lopez a heart-melting act back in 2018.

Rodriguez is a father to two daughters, namely, Natasha and Ella, from his previous marriage to Cynthia Scurtis. Whereas, Lopez is a mother to a pair of twins, Emme and Max, from her previous marriage with Marc Anthony. Since Lopez is a $400 million worth pop music megastar, her kids share her interest in music. At the same time, Rodriguez’s daughters hold a keen passion for music as well.

When Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez’s kids got into a raw jam

Rodriguez’s daughters were reportedly always quite highly fond of Lopez. So it wasn’t much of a wonder that both of their children became close-knit. Sharing of mutual interests further helped to bind the ties. Therefore, an act showcasing their skills was bound to happen at some point.

Lopez, for the part, had always remained openly appreciative of the love and affection her kids shared with Rodriguez’s daughters. As a marker of this fact, their kids once jammed along to a song, strumming on ukuleles. Recording the video, Lopez later shared the brief jamming session on her Instagram account. Lopez’s daughter Emme, a 10-year-old back then, sang along to an Elvis Presley song with Natasha and Ella.

The trio sang Presley’s evergreen classic, ‘Can’t help falling in love’. Putting up the post on her Instagram account, Lopez wrote, “Just a little ukulele by the fire. Beauties. All I have.” While the girls were singing, Lopez filled in as the vocal coach. Her voice was audible, suggesting the girls take a breath, amid an attempt to hit the proper notes.

However, that clearly wasn’t the first time that Lopez taught the girls to sing. Emme even made an appearance in her mother’s music video and performed together at the Super Bowl. While Natasha also gave glimpses of her singing talent, as she sang the national anthem at the start of an MLB game.

What did the celebrity couple have to say about their children?

Speaking about their kids to People Magazine back in 2018, Lopez said, “Kids are so beautiful and open to love and new friends. I was so loving to his kids and he was so loving and accepting of mine, and they embraced each other right away. (It was) ‘I get a new bonus brother and sisters to hang out with all the time and it’s nice.'”
