In a Tweet, Canseco said, “If you’ve ever wanted an Authentic Signed syringe from The Godfather of Steroids now is your chance to buy directly at the following link:”. Canseco has been open about his steroid usage. He published a book called ‘Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits & How Baseball Got Big’ in 2005. Furthermore, in this book, he talked about his usage of steroids. Canseco faced bankruptcy at one point, having spent more money than he had.
