Until now, spring training for the MLB’s 2023 season has been a difficult time for several baseball players and franchises. Many players suffered horrific injuries, stopping them from being on the field on Opening Day. But a ray of sunshine has finally come for the fans, as the Boston Red Sox’s third baseman, Justin Turner, came up with an update about his injury.

Two weeks ago, during a spring training game against Detroit Tigers, Turner took a hit to his face. With a bloody face, he was then removed from the game. And now, after two weeks of the horrific injury, the third baseman is back with an optimistic update for his fans and supporters.?

After having two weeks to recover, the Red Sox’s star player recently revealed with a video that he’s now well enough to be on the plate. The athlete took to Instagram to share an update about his health while thanking everyone for the love and support.?

For those unversed, Turner became a player for the Red Sox only this offseason. Before this, he played for three different teams, primarily for the LA Dodgers. Hence, among the fans who prayed for him were the Dodgers fans.?

Dodgers fans will miss their “Pop Tart”

In 2018, fans started calling Turner “Pop Tart” because of his swing having so much pop in it. Turner won his first and only World Series win while still with the Dodgers in 2020. The fans loved him, and their love and respect for the player haven’t gone even though the player switched teams.?

Among the many fans happy for Turner’s return was his wife, Kourtney Turner, writing,?“Toughest human & easiest one to support! Love you!! ???? Scar you excited for opening day?”
