Derek Jeter celebrated his 48th birthday recently. Even though the former New York Yankees captain does not play the game anymore, he will always be special for the Yankees fans. Jeter was part of one of the most dominant Yankees squads. 

Having played for 20 years of baseball, Jeter dedicated his entire professional career to the Pinstripes. And that is one of the many reasons why he is still the favorite for almost every Yankees fan. After he retired from the game, Jeter started his second inning with his wife and supermodel, Hannah Jeter.

Jeter and Hannah are together for over ten years now. Recently, Hannah made Jeter’s 48th birthday even more special after arranging an ocean-front party for her hubby. During the last ten years of their relationship, they have set major goals as a celebrity couple.

Per People.com, Derek Jeter started dating in 2012. After four years of dating each other, the former Yankees captain and Sports Illustrated supermodel, Hannah Jeter, tied the knot.

Talking about Jeter’s birthday party, the man himself revealed the party spot to his fans. The Yankees legend shared a couple of pictures on his Instagram story. In the first photo, he shared a selfie with his wife and captioned the photo, “Thank you Hannah Jeter for a great bday trip!”

Derek Jeter is one of the very few baseball players who have the luxury of calling themselves a one-team man. Debuted for the Pinstripes in the 1995 season, Jeter played his last game in the 2014 season. He is famously known for leading the Yankees to five World Series championships.

Considering his selfless dedication and loyalty, the New York Yankees retired Jeter’s iconic jersey number #2 in 2016. A few years later, in 2020, Major League Baseball also honored Jeter with a Hall of Fame induction.
