Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez’s car once accidentally hit the paparazzi while leaving a restaurant. At the steering wheel was Lopez’s bodyguard. The driver got into an exchange of words with the rest of the paparazzi crew before driving off. 

Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez is a legendary baseball icon who rose to stardom while playing for the New York Yankees. ‘A-Rod’ is a 14-time All-Star player and also a one-time World Series champion. On the other hand, Jennifer ‘J-Lo’ Lopez is a pop music megastar with immeasurable global popularity. 

‘A-Rod’ and ‘J-Lo’ were a celebrity couple who briefly dated from 2017 to 2021. Being a pair with massive popularity turned their relationship into a hot topic for gossip. Their personal life had as much glamor and glitter as their respective professional careers. So there was equally some drama. Once, while driving out of a posh restaurant, their driver mistakenly hit a photographer.

Celebrities and paparazzi have frequent run-ins. The paparazzi earn a livelihood from their celebrity snapshots. But celebrities are not always in the mood to pose for clicks. Sometimes it’s people from the support staff that stand in between their celebrity bosses and the paparazzi. 

Both Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez and Jennifer ‘J-Lo’ Lopez were once returning after eating out. The venue was Craig’s, a restaurant in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. The restaurant happens to be a favorite hangout spot for celebrities. 

The paparazzi lined up outside and stood in the driveway. Lopez’s bodyguard was in the driver’s seat. While the cameras were flashing with blinding light, the car slowly set off and accidentally hit one of the photographers.

The driver immediately hit the brakes to check on the photographer. According to a source, the rest of the paparazzi scolded the driver. But the driver pointed out their mistake, saying, “See what happens when you flash all the flashes? I can’t see where I’m going.”

What was the outcome of the incident? 

As per a report in TMZ, the photographer later filed a complaint against the couple. But it was of no use, as it was ultimately the fault of the paparazzi. Since none has the right to obstruct someone’s path.
