Jon Heyman of the New York Post reported that one doctor revealed a shocking update about Correa’s ankle. This doctor stated that the star shortstop’s ankle was one of the worst he’s ever seen.

According to Heyman, “one doctor suggested Correa has the worst ankle he’s seen”. Furthermore, he also stated that Correa was lucky to have gotten $200 million with the Twins. But despite this shocking update, the Twins will probably be prepared for any issues down the road. They are most familiar with Correa’s medical situation, seeing as he suited up for them in 2022.

Although these latest updates point toward Correa having serious leg issues, the star shortstop has other explanations for it. He revealed that the Giants and the Mets used the same doctor.
