Albert Pujols is 42 years old. Pujols made his debut with the Cardinals in 2001. Standing with the Cardinals through thick and thin, he remained loyal to them and wore the Redbirds jersey until 2011. Following that, he played with the LA Angels till 2021, after which he signed a one-year contract with the Dodgers till 2022. Now, he’s come back to the Cardinals to play his final season and retire with them.

In 2022, Pujols is playing with the Cardinals, swapping between positions of a designated hitter and first baseman. Till now, he’s been batting at a solid 0.275 this season with 61 hits. The surprising element is the fact that Pujols, at 42, has hit 15 home runs already this season.
