However, his personal life has not been the same. With a failed marriage, a failed engagement, and several breakups, A-Rod’s personal life has tons of controversies with his many exes.

After the divorce from his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, the former Yankees slugger dated quite a few women, including renowned Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz. However, Diaz had a terrible experience while in a relationship with Álex Rodríguez.

Per India TV, Cameron Diaz shared her gut-wrenching story with Cosmopolitan magazine. And while talking about her past, she shared some relationship advice. She said if someone wants to have a relationship, then it is necessary the two parties are on the same page.

“You have to find someone in the same place as you are. Timing is everything,” Diaz said in 2014. “If you get into a relationship where you want something the guy doesn’t want, it’s never gonna work.”

Notably, she dated Alex Rodriguez between 2010 and 2011. Although she did not take any name, her words were enough to tell how disappointed she was with her past relationships, including the one with A-Rod.
