

Derek Jeter has always been a family man. Throughout his career, and even after, the New York Yankees legend has credited his family’s support for his success. He is currently enjoying being a father while also maintaining his various business interests and ventures. Jeter has focused on investing in an array of companies, even starting some of his own.
But despite all of this, he finds the time to spend with his family, specifically his three daughters. The Yankees legend recently shared an update on his three daughters while discussing some of their milestones.

Derek Jeter proudly opened up about his daughters’ milestones and progress
Derek Jeter is very protective of his family and during his career would rarely share details about his personal life. But since retiring, he has been more open and talked about his family and daughters. Most recently, he talked about his three daughters and the milestones they are reaching during an interview. While speaking to extra-tv, Jeter stated spoke about his daughter’s progress. He specifically talked about his elder daughter saying that she is in kindergarten and expressing pride at her progress.
During the interview, Jeter said, “My oldest is um, she’s in kindergarten, going to first grade, I am in charge of sight words. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t remember doing sight words in kindergarten. So, kids are much more advanced than I was when I was growing up. So I’m in charge of the sight words. Very proud of the success that we’ve had throughout the year. So now it’s just getting her ready for first grade, and I tell you what. You talk about three girls, they’re all completely different.”

The New York Yankees legend wants to be there for his daughters as much as possible. That is why he is not taking up a job or position with regular travel or other commitments. In fact, he has shut down the possibility of returning to baseball in a new role.
Jeter is not going to be a baseball manager
Derek Jeter recently shut down the possibility of becoming a baseball manager. He said that the schedule is brutal and that he wants to spend time with his kids. The New York Yankees legend is not interested in management at the time. Furthermore, he wants to teach his kids the lessons that his father taught him.
