The best example is former New York Yankees captain, Derek Jeter. Along contrary lines, the Yanks’ first baseman, Anthony Rizzo, was recently involved in something that pushed him towards the opposite of becoming a fan favorite. But did the 33-year-old have reason to do so?

Anthony Rizzo has witnessed a fairly decent 2022. From the 130 games he played, the baseman concluded the regular season with 104 hits, 32 home runs, 74 RBIs, and a batting average of 0.224. However, the three-time All-Star, who won the World Championship with the Chicago Cubs in 2016, was recently involved in a verbal tiff with a fan who asked him for an autograph.
