When the mother of the icon, Aaron Judge, sees her son’s craze in the baseball world, being awestruck comes naturally to her.

The slugger is on his way to fulfilling the prediction he made for himself in January. He had predicted to hit 50 homers this season. And now, he is just one homer away to fulfill it, and the year still has four months and a few days left.

As the calendar showed the month of August, the slugger hosted a Baseball ProCamp in Forest Hills. Therein, his mother also talked about watching him play the game.

Watching a kid achieve great things in life is enough for a parent to feel proud of them. And like others in the audience, the outfielder’s mother, Patty Judge, also feels astonished when she sees her son play for the New York Yankees.

“You sit there and see the performance and the family just celebrates the moment, and the saying that many of you have used before is a pinching moment,” said Judge’s mother at the baseball ProCamp.

She continued, “It’s like, ‘Is this really happening?’ It’s just beyond our expectations.”

From the start of this season till now, Judge has shown everyone his power. He hit his 49th homer in the ballpark on Friday against the Oakland Athletics, which also helped the team win the game.

How was the camp for Judge?
The camp was filled with the little leaguers wearing specialized T-shirts saying, “All Rise,” having the number “99” on their back. Also, the camp understandably was sold out.

Therein Judge tried to give the kids instructions or talk about drills but they only wanted to ask Judge questions about the game he plays.
Questions from the little leaguers were more than enough to make anyone laugh, let alone Judge. They asked, “How do you hit home runs,” Judge replied while having a laugh remembering the moment.
