Ever since Harrison stepped foot inside the MMA world, the talks of her battle with the ‘Lioness‘ have been doing rounds. Both women have been dominating their divisions in their respective promotions for a while now.
Nunes, who is currently bantamweight and featherweight champion in UFC, has been constantly thwarting out challenges from the two divisions. Many consider her as the greatest female fighter to step inside the ring.
Meanwhile, Harrison has been creating a wave of herself. She has sweated a little in all of her fights and has already etched her name in the all-time great list.
In an interview given in March, the judoka had described Nunes as the greatest of all time. “My goal is to be the greatest of all time. She (Nunes) is currently the greatest of all time.”

“The biggest compliment I could give to Amanda is I hope to fight her one day. That’s the best compliment I could give her because that means she’s the GOAT. She’s what we’re all chasing,” she added. (via MMA Junkie)
Kayla Harrison believes Claressa Shields will find it difficult to switch between boxing and MMA
Not just the ‘Lioness’, fight fans have also linked Harrison with a matchup against Claressa Shields. But the judoka believes Shields has a lot to learn in MMA and will find it difficult to switch to MMA from boxing and vice versa.
“She has holes,” Harrison told Ariel Helwani on ‘The MMA Hour’. “She has holes. I think they were expected, [but] I think I was surprised a little bit. I don’t know. My mentality was just always to be as prepared as possible for whatever challenge I get myself into.”
