UFC 263: Adesanya vs Vettori 2 saw a grueling 5 round battle pan out between the welterweight elites Leon Edwards and Nate Diaz. In the end, Edwards survived a late scare to secure a victory via unanimous decision.
Diaz suffered a cut again on his forehead as Edwards pummeled his elbows right over his forehead portion. This is not the first time the fighter has suffered the cut and it may have been the reason the UFC moved their fight from UFC 262 to UFC 263.
USA Today’s reporter, Nolan King, talked about Diaz having a cut prior to UFC 262.
