Although Jon Jones may not be fighting immediately for the heavyweight title, the former light heavyweight champion has been working non-stop to change his body. ‘Bones’, as he is rightfully known, was always a very lanky individual when he competed at 205-pounds. And if he were to stand his ground at heavyweight, adding weight to his frame was necessary.
Since relinquishing his title, Jones has been posting updates regularly on his social media.
The fighter frequently shares videos and pictures of him training and looking bigger than he has ever looked. Recent reports suggest that Jones has ballooned up all the way to 250 pounds in his year away from the sport.

‘Bones’ is extremely active on Twitter and often takes time out of his day to respond to any questions that the fans may have for him. In one such interaction, a fan reacted to a video of him sprinting at 20 miles per hour on a treadmill and tweeted, “Your frame is bigger then I thought considering you still look really lean at 250 lbs.”

Jon Jones has always been an extremely lean light heavyweight. This has allowed him to be extremely athletic as compared to his divisional counterparts. However, there is a growing concern among fans that the extra weight put on by Jones will hamper his movement, and he is more likely to get caught with blows that will deal serious damage. Jones, however, believes otherwise.
The greatest title in the world is coming back to the greatest country in the world.
