Diaz has taken what many call the toughest fight in the decision against Leon Edwards. However, despite Diaz’s record, former Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping believes that a win here could put Diaz in line for a title shot.

Nate Diaz is a hard fight, no matter what his record says. However, Leon Edwards may be one of the most polished fighters in the UFC. But Diaz actually matches up well against him.
Diaz has elite BJJ, which will make Edwards re-think trying to outwrestle him. The master of the ‘Stockton Slap’ is one of the craftiest submission artists in the UFC, and Edwards could struggle if caught in a hold. Similarly, they match up well as strikers as well.

But the trademark pace and pressure that Diaz puts on someone may be ineffective against Edwards. Both men have elite cardio, great striking, and danger points on the mat. This will be a sensational bout. While Edwards is justifiably the favorite in this fight, nobody can count Nate Diaz out. A win here would rejuvenate his career.
