Joe Rogan was joined by Bert Kreischer in a recent episode of his podcast where the two men discussed the fight between ‘T-City’ and ‘The Great’. Here, Kreischer shared an interesting story involving Brian Ortega and actor Shia LaBeouf.

‘T-City’ has been in the UFC since 2014. During that time, he has faced the very best at 145-pounds and has more often than not come out on top. In December 2018, a six-fight win streak saw him land a title shot against Max Holloway at UFC 231.

‘T-City’, on the receiving end of a striking masterclass from Max Holloway, succumbed to a loss that kept him out of action for a long time.
In his return fight, Ortega secured an impressive win over ‘The Korean Zombie’ and showcased a drastically improved game which earned him a title shot for the second time in his UFC career. At UFC 266, ‘T-City’ put on an impressive display against Volkanovski and almost had a guillotine choke in the third round.

However, he was thoroughly outclassed by the Australian who once again proved why he is the best at 145-pounds.
Ortega is incredibly talented and would most likely be the favorite against anyone else in the division. However, results have proved that Max Holloway and Alexander Volkanovski are without a doubt in a league of their own at 145-pounds in the UFC.
