‘Their Opinion Means Jack Sh*t to Me’- Dana White Goes on a Rant About the Criticism From Media

UFC president Dana White recently appeared for the first-ever episode of the ‘Full Send Podcast’. The maverick entrepreneur sat down with Kyle Forgeard and Bob Menery in the war room of UFC headquarters to discuss various things like Paul brothers, Donald Trump, Addison Rae, and more.
During the discussion, White started talking about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic over the world. He discussed how everything in the world stopped, including the movie world and even the sporting world.

The supremo detailed how he and the board of directors had a rough start to their plans of staging the fights. According to him, everyone believed in him at last, as he was hell-bent on doing the shows. He then answered a question about what he felt about the media looking at his decision to host shows.
“I don’t give a f*ck about media. The media are full of sh*t,” White said. “When you look at these media people, who the f*ck are they? What they have ever done?… What have these people ever built or done?”

“Nothing. F*cking zero. Less than zero. Their opinion means jack sh*t to me,” White added. “If I listen to the media, from day one, wouldn’t be where we are today. You gotta block all that noise man… you will get to a point where you literally don’t give a f*ck.”
Dana White reveals Stipe Miocic has accepted a fight against Jon Jones
Former UFC light heavyweight champ Jon Jones has been out of action for more than a year now. The UFC legend has been bulking up for a debut in the heavyweight division. But his ongoing clashes with the UFC supremo and the management over pay issues and his own interests have kept this mega move on the sidelines.
Like him, there is another fighter, who recently had some apprehensions with UFC over not booking him in a rematch for the heavyweight gold, Stipe Miocic. The fighter had even threatened to quit the promotion. But White has shed some light on both fighters’ situations.

“He (Jones) is talking about fighting at heavyweight. But, in the heavyweight division right now we are going back to Houston, Derrick Lewis is taking on Ciryl Gane and whoever wins that fight will fight Francis Ngannou.”
“Whoever wins that fight, if Jon Jones wants to come back, he can fight one of them. Or, he can fight Stipe Miocic. Stipe has accepted that fight and will take that fight,” he said.
