Colby Covington takes on Kamaru Usman in a rematch for the welterweight title later this year. The two men are without a doubt the best in their division and the toughest competition for each other. The first fight was an epic encounter with both men trading blow for blow until the last round. Covington insists the stoppage was not right and that he will get his revenge in the second fight.
In a recent interview, Covington shared his thoughts on his upcoming rematch against Usman. He said, “Yeah, the next couple of months I will be the UFC welterweight champion again. I am going to get my rematch with Marty Juiceman, and we’re going to lock heads. We fought two years ago, and there were a lot of bad calls. That is what happens when you become a Trump supporter. You get the deck stacked against you. It is never going to be a level playing field. They always want you to fail when you support Trump. I am going to overcome that I am going to get that UFC world title and then we will go from there.”

Colby Covington, on the other hand, absolutely destroyed a former champion in Tyron Woodley after his loss to Kamaru Usman and demanded a title shot right away. Given that Dana White has been very vocal about how much he liked the first fight between the two men, it was no surprise that he granted Covington his wish. It will be interesting to see how the second fight plays out. Both men have experienced each other for the better part of 25 minutes and go into this fight with different coaches in their corner.
