Naomi Osaka States How She Spends Time in the Bubble at the Miami Open 2021

World No. 2 Naomi Osaka is currently in Miami, competing at the season’s first WTA 1000 event. The Japanese starlet is on an amazing 23-match winning streak. After her win today, she booked a spot in the quarterfinal round. At the moment, there isn’t a player who is as dominant as Naomi in the women’s game.
After her match, Naomi Osaka spoke about how she passes her time while living in the bubble. She explained that she watches Netflix and anime. She even specifically mentioned a show called The Queen’s Gambit. This is a show based on the game of chess and has received a great response from the audience.

Speaking about her activities while living in the bubble, Osaka said, “I watch a lot of anime. I’ve been trying to find stuff on Netflix to watch. I was watching the Queen’s Gambit, but then for some reason, I didn’t finish it. I have two episodes left and I’m not sure why I stopped at that moment. But yeah, just a lot of TV watching.”
This season, most of the tournaments have been conducted with restrictions. It started with the Australian Open and now, even the Miami Open is being conducted with the players living in the bubble. While in the bubble, players are restricted from moving around freely and can only be in the vicinity of the hotel and on the courts where they play their matches.
