The NASCAR race car drivers are challenged to perform their best almost every weekend on the tracks in the Cup Series. But what about someone who has retired from racing in the series? Well, metaphorically, life throws challenges at us every day, and Dale Earnhardt Jr seems to have received one recently, that too, from his beautiful wife Amy Earnhardt.

One of the most popular personalities in the NASCAR fraternity, Dale Jr, has always been an all-rounder. From being a race car driver to a commentator and now a successful entrepreneur, he has built a massive empire for himself. With the enormous life-work experience he has, he is not someone who would deny a challenge thrown at him. But when the person challenging him is his wife, how would that have ended?

Amy Earnhardt’s extreme challenge for Dale Earnhardt Jr

Dale Jr’s wife Amy recently shared a video of her and a picture of her husband right after, on her Instagram story. In the video, she talked about her favorite workout. She explained to her fans how it helped her over the years to stay fit and healthy even after having kids. She said, “Dale and I just got back from doing one of my favorite workouts, core704. I used to do core regularly when I was, before kids and I did it regularly when I was still pregnant with Isla and that is why I stayed in such good shape.”

The fun began when she shared that she had asked Dale Jr to join her for the energetic workout. She said, “I started going back, and I asked Dale to go with me, and he said yes. I don’t know why he said yes, but he did, and he did the whole class. I’m so proud of him.”

“It is so incredibly hard, and he’s gonna be sore tomorrow anyway. So, but come on man do core with me.”

Amy certainly already knows what will happen the next day as her husband indulged in such a strenuous session. She appreciated her husband for his efforts and for trying out a hardcore workout session. She shared a picture of him post their workout session on her story and wrote, “He killed it.”

That is not all! Dale Jr took the opportunity to re-post Amy’s appreciative picture of him. In the picture he looks all worn out from the workout session, resting on a bike, with a smile.

Anyone who has pushed themselves too hard in the gym can understand Dale Jr’s emotions in that picture. Making the moment light, he wrote, “The face that’s saying “I think I’ve made a mistake,” with a squatting emoji right next to where he wrote ‘mistake.’
