“Ditch NASCAR” – Days After He Kicked Off His New Racing Venture With Kevin Harvick, Dale Jr’s Success Announcement Leaves Racing World Overjoyed

The recent CARS Tour news has got the racing fans riled up. It is the recent takeover of the tour by some of the most loved and respected names in NASCAR, like Dale Earnhardt Jr, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Burton, and Justin Marks, that makes the league a lot more exciting.

With all the owners of the tour being former drivers, one can expect some additions to the catalog. While the schedule for the 19 existing race weekends remains the same, the series has significantly gained popularity. Dale Jr has also been vocal about the plans and expectations from the tour and how it has been unfolding.

The ever-enthusiastic Dale Earnhardt Jr reveals what’s in store for the fans and why the hype surrounding it is as it is. Talking about the event at Hickory, he, on his Dale Jr. Download podcast, said, “I got some great news about the CARS Tour. We had great viewership for our Hickory show. I am so excited about the growth and excitement around the CARS Tour. Ace Speedway is coming up this weekend. Friday night on Flo for the CARS tour”

“That is the last race before we go to North Wilkesboro where I will be racing in a Sun Drop car. Our pro-series, man is growing. We had 72 cars come to Hickory between the 2 classes. Hickory was bangin’ man. It was awesome.”

If you thought that this was it, then you are wrong. On being asked about the involvement of NASCAR’s great Kenny Wallace in the proceedings, he revealed, “Kenny is going to race the track county on Memorial Day weekend.”

“So Kenny is coming to town to work the Charlotte Race. He is gonna do the trackside live. Hopefully, people that are in town for 600 might venture over to track county for a little short track action and see Kenny Wallace go up against our best in the cars tour”

“I wonder how much this stems from Harvick and Dale Jr’s involvement in the Cars Tour. I know Josh does a lot for Dale Jr when he drives his late model. As well as Rodney helping out Kevin with his late model plans. Wouldn’t be surprised if that’s how the conversation started.”

While some have also shown their skepticism about the future of the sport, “It’s getting out of hand, Mark. This is a sure fire way to run the “legacy” fans out of the sport.
