‘Busch’ is a name that every NASCAR fan recognizes. With Kurt Busch, the 2004 NASCAR Cup Series champion, and Kyle Busch, the two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, the family’s legacy in the racing world is undeniable. However, as things stand, the next generation of Buschs already seem to be ready to take on the mantle.

During a recent interview with NASCAR Race Hub, Kurt Busch spoke about how he’s proud of his brother Kyle Busch mentoring his 7-year-old son, Brexton Busch’s racing career, and, as a result, how he’s already advancing quickly through the ranks.

He continued, “He’s got three coaches, he’s got old man Tom, he’s got Kyle, he’s got myself,” said Kurt.

It’s no surprise that the Busch family is heavily invested in motorsports, with Tom Busch himself a former racer. Both Kurt and Kyle credit their father for instilling their love for racing. “I think a lot of credit goes to Tom Busch for giving us the opportunities throughout life to be in the positions that we’ve been in,” said Kyle, as per USA TODAY Sports.

But it’s not just the Busch brothers who are making waves in NASCAR. Brexton Busch, at just 6 years old, won his maiden Beginner Box Stock Saturday Series at the Millbridge Speedway. With parents’ investment and Kyle Busch’s coaching, the younger Busch generation seems to be on track to follow in their family’s footsteps.

Brexton’s progress in the sport has been nothing short of impressive, and he seems to have inherited the racing genes of his father and uncle. Kurt Busch couldn’t help but share his pride in Brexton, saying, “it’s fun to watch him race too.”

The young driver’s enthusiasm for the sport is evident on his social media, where he thanked his father for lending him his hauler for his visit to the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
