Wyatt Miller pays homage to racing legends
Wyatt Miller represents the third generation of the Earnhardt family in the ongoing Tulsa Shootout. His amazing performances in the last few years have earned him the title of upcoming star. However, his Tulsa racing helmet is making waves on social media. Addressing the interest in Wyatt’s helmet, his mother shared a heartfelt post and revealed its significance.
Sharing his picture, Kelley wrote, “Someone asked about the significance of Wyatt’s helmet, Dale Earnhardt (number 3), Jesus (cross) and @jasonmcdougal69 (flamingo).” Notably, the Number 3 is one of the most successful charters in NASCAR history. The No. 3 car has put eight drivers in the NASCAR Hall of Fame, with three more nominated. However, it became synonymous with ‘The Intimidator’ with his legendary performances. Dale Earnhardt won 67 of his 76 races with this charter earning six championships. The number 3 on Wyatt’s helmet paid tribute to his grandfather’s legacy.
Meanwhile, the cross sign on Wyatt’s helmet reflects his belief in Jesus. Notably, the Earnhardt Family has been very religious. Wyatt’s grandfather, Dale Earnhardt, used to pray after every race to thank god. Rev Max Helton, who was the lead prayer of Earnhardt, revealed it in an interview by saying, “Man, he grabbed me by the neck and pulled my head in and said, ‘Let’s pray and thank God for this victory.”
